During the meeting Bye-law of the association presented and approved by the General Body. Followed by the meeting KAPB’s first family picnic was held and about 200 people were attended. That was an occasion of Fun in the Sun with variety of games, sports and Barbecue. With the support and cooperation of all participants the first event of KAPB proved it as a great success.

FORMATION OF KERALA ASSOCIATION OF PALM BEACH

On January 9, 2011, about 40 Keralite families representing different religions and denominations met together at the residence of Mr. Mathew Thomas of Wellington, and formed an organization on behalf of all the Malayalee families in Palm Beach and nearby Counties. On that day long cherished aspiration of creating an organization for Malayalees residing in palm Beach and nearby Counties have fulfilled. During the meeting a decision has been made to register this organization under the statutes of State of Florida and the association named as KERALA ASSOCIATION OF PALM BEACH.
An Executive Committee also elected during the meeting.
Mathew Thomas-President, Babu Vettom-Vice President, Lukose Pynumkan-Secretary, Saji Johnson-Treasurer, George Joseph-Joint Secretary, Jijo Jose-Joint Treasurer, Regi Sebastian, Joseph Issac, Babu Thomas, Reni Kunnel, Saji Thomas, Manoj Joseph, as committee members respectively. Mr. Antony Chatham was entrusted with the responsibility of preparing a bye-law for the newly formed association with the assistance of the executive committee.
